John J. Ferrari • President Contain-A-Way dba NexCycle – California Operations
Mr. Ferrari has been with CAW/NEX/SMI for over 13 years and has over 35 years experience in the recycling industry. Prior to joining NexCycle in 1996, Mr. Ferrari was the Northern California operations manager for Reynolds Aluminum Recycling. In all toll, Mr. Ferrari completed 20 years with Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Company…(a division of Reynolds Metals Company) in various operations, logistics & marketing management positions through-out California.
In addition, Mr. Ferrari worked for Anheuser- Busch Recycling (formerly know as Container Recycling Corp) for 2 years as Plant Manager and was instrumental in the start-up and operation of ABRC’s West Coast/Hayward processing facility. Mr. Ferrari attended Canada College majored in business and enrolled in Stanford University – Continuing Studies Program/Business. Mr. Ferrari resides in Redwood City California along with his wife Karen, son/Michael & daughter/Kerianne.
Sydney Flood • Executive Director Finance and Accounting – Contain-A-Way, Inc.
Ms. Flood joined the Company June 2007. She brings 25 plus years of finance and accounting experience in various industries, with the majority with Engineering Consulting firms specializing in contracts with the Federal Government. Most recently she was Director of Finance and Accounting for Technicolor Film Distribution (Ontario, CA) and Principal Analyst for Raytheon, Inc. (El Segundo). Prior to that she was the Corporate Accounting Manager with Tetra Tech, Inc, (Pasadena, CA) a leading provider of consulting, engineering, and technical services worldwide and had been with the company for 12 years. Ms. Flood is a Certified Public Account and a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Finance.
