Curt Bucey – President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Bucey joined the Company in November 1993 as Vice President of Sales. Currently, he is responsible for all Glass Division operations.  Prior to joining the SMI, Mr. Bucey was employed by Anchor Glass, one of the Glass Division’s top ten customers, for 12 years, where he held the position of Marketing Manager-Food Industries.  

 

Mark J. Krueger – CPA • Controller
Mr. Krueger joined Strategic Materials in March 2009 with more than 20 years of accounting and financial management experience.  Most recently he was the Assistant Controller for TRE Financial Services, a software development company.  From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Krueger was Controller of manufacturing and service companies including Mogas Industries – a valve manufacturing company, and Radney Management & Investments – a property management company.

From 1984 to 1996, he held a number of accounting positions, including Plant Controller, with Hormel Foods Corporation.  Mr. Krueger is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas.  He has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Madison as well as an MBA from the University of Houston.
