James Brown – General Manager • Maine Operations
Mr. Brown joined Strategic Materials November 2008 assuming the position of General Manager responsible for the Transportation, Redemption and Plant operations in Maine.

Prior to joining Strategic Materials, James was employed by Waste Management Inc. for 19 years. During his tenure at Waste he held the positions of; Site Manager for the hauling Operations in Portland, Maine for 16 years comprised of 35 trucks, 40 employees with annual revenues of 13 million dollars. Business Improvement Analyst for the corporate office based out of Houston, Texas. Responsible for process improvement, cost control and Ebit Improvement. Senior District Manager for the hauling Operations in Chesapeake, Virginia. Comprised of 98 trucks and 156 employees with annual revenues of 125 million dollars. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Indiana Business College with a Bachelors in Business Accounting, Management Concentration.

 

Beth Milligan – Controller • Returnable Services Inc.
Ms. Milligan has been with Returnable Services for over 10 years.  Prior to joining RSI she was employed in public accounting for 11 years.  During her time in Public Accounting in Virginia she managed audits for construction companies, employee benefit plans and non profits.  She also taught accounting for several years at Northern Virginia Community College. She is Certified Public Accountant and a graduate from Virginia Tech with a BS in Accounting.  She is also the treasurer for her local PTA.
